Please note that cargo classified as GROUP A & B / GROUP B on IMSBC form is being recognized as dangerous cargo at Turkish Straits.

Therefore, passage is subject to;

DARDANELLES  - Till 31st Jan 2025

• LOA 150-200 meters; pilotage obligatory.
• LOA 200-250 meters; pilotage obligatory, no daylight restriction
• LOA 250-300 meters; pilotage & escort tug obligatory, transit is daylight restricted.

BOSPORUS

• LOA 150-200 meters; pilotage & escort tug obligatory.
• LOA 200-250 meters; pilotage & escort tug obligatory, transit is daylight restricted.
• LOA 250-300 meters; pilotage & escort tug obligatory, transit is daylight restricted.

Associated cost: 30% dangerous cargo surcharge on pilotage
-USD 10500 escort tug fee at Dardanelles
-USD 8500 escort tug fee at Bosporus.
